Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Solara and KhromeVault ("the Service"), operated by Dunn Global Solutions ("we", "us"). By creating an account, connecting a wallet, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is
KhromeVault is end-to-end-encrypted ("zero-knowledge") file storage. Files are encrypted on your device before upload; we store only ciphertext. File integrity references are anchored on the Khromosome network (chain 777001). We cannot read, decrypt, or recover the contents of your files.
Non-custodial keys — read this carefully. Your encryption keys are derived from your wallet and never leave your device. We do not hold, escrow, or have any ability to recover them. If you lose access to your wallet, your files are permanently and irreversibly lost. This is a deliberate security property, not a defect. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and recovery phrase.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Your identity on the Service is your wallet address. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your wallet.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to store or distribute unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for abuse, or overload the Service. Because storage is encrypted, you are entirely responsible for the legality of what you store.
4. Plans, billing & quota
The free tier includes a base storage quota. Paid plans ("Plus") increase your quota and are billed through our payment processor (Polar). Plus storage is granted to the wallet address provided at checkout via an on-chain quota grant. You must provide a wallet at checkout for the entitlement to attach. 5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data resulting from lost keys.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Because we cannot read your data, deletion is performed cryptographically and by removing stored ciphertext.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
